Bedroom: Before & After

I remodeled my room yesterday!
It was a complete mess.

However the pictures above are the result of already having moved things (my room isn't that jumbled).

I moved the bed, the vanity, took my desk out and created an "office corner," put all my college textbooks in boxes (most of them) and under the bed, put all my boxes & excess mags next to my book shelf, and now I have open space in the center!

Under my bed! The bed risers are very convenient. I have my guitar & extra music goodies in a bag as well as my college textbooks here.

From my room door. The bed used to be exactly to the left (vertically when you walked in). Pardon all the stripes! I noticed that last night... too many if you ask me. Mom didn't have any other bed sheets & I didn't want to go out & buy new ones so those'll do.

As you can notice, the headboard that mom made me a while ago is still in its same spot (I left it there because that wall gets super cold at night so it deflects it).

So voila! I wish I could do a paint job on it but I won't stay here forever so I'll leave it as is.
I also filed a ton of paperwork laying around the room and created a new 2012 file for each category (i.e. Work, Expenses, Ministry, etc.).

It was a lot of hard work doing this by myself but I love moving things around! Seeing my room way more organized also makes me happier :)
