Taking mom and pops to eat sushi for lunch, we decided to eat dessert as well.
Our favorite: Tempura Ice Cream.
Soy ice cream covered with tempura batter and heavily drizzled with light strawberry and chocolate syrup and a fluffy, light whip cream... Some call it the Japanese Fried Ice Cream. Dad called it the healthiest ice cream he's ever eaten since it's made out of soy.
I simply call it my favorite :)
Enjoy

Googly
On Friday the kiddos at work were making "fuzzy" people.
Cici, a lovely cute little girl full of personality and innocence came up to me out of the grey and asked, "Ms. Kit Kat, do you want me to make you something?"
I said, "Hm... I don't know... what are you making?" And I saw a little fuzzy person she was holding and said, "Make me one of these then," and she smiled and said "OK!" like I had made her dreams come true by allowing her to make me something.
She made me a fuzzy person and we called him Googly. He even sleeps with his eyes open.

Ahem...
I got a new camera!!
I love it!!
It's the Kodak Slice Touchscreen with 15 megapixels.
My previous camera was Kodak V1233 Zoom with 12 megapixels. But it was getting tired of living. More like it fulfilled its mission and it was time for the new.
The Slice touchscreen is bee-you-tee-FULL!! It perceives my finger tapping it and it doesn't need me to do it twice. And I registered to the Kodak EasyShare program! Program sounds like something that requires payment but it's FREE! Woot woot! EasyShare makes it easier (obviously) for me to spread my pics around the world (for others to see) and to edit them, and to order prints, and to create cool projects with the pics I took. I can also print pics from my camera. I'm bragging but I have to tell you that I don't yet know how to fully use all these amazing apps.
My camera is also linked to e-mails, Facebook, Flickr, and YouTube.
Yessss. I'm happy with it.
My thanks to you Kodak.

Framing Memories
I have been using coupons along with mother to buy goodies at Michael's.
I decided to buy frames. But not just any frames. My favorite frames!
COLLAGE FRAMES!!
Ta-daaa!
This is the one I bought. 21 4x6" photos. I just realized I could hang it horizontaly, but vertical looks better. More "aweing" you could say because of its tallness.
After developing pictures and awesome determination to get it done today between my work shifts, I finally have family pictures in it! AND all the spots are filled... I was afraid that I wasn't going to have the perfect pictures to display our family moments oh so perfectly but they are now tuning a sweet symphony everytime I view it. It's gorgeous.
I have another collage frame waiting to be initiated into its sole purpose for existing. It's a 9 5x7" photo collage frame.
But I want to take new pictures for this one.

Peter Pan flew because he believed... plus the pixie dust
There's something about flying that sparks interest.
Explain...
Why kiddos jump off their roof thinking they're going to soar. Why do they even think flying is such a big deal?
Why Peter Pan's greatest strength was that he could fly when he believed (plus the pixie dust).
Why plane watching is one of my favorite past times.
Why I'm captivated when I see birds flying
For some reason I just LOVE to watch birds soar through the wind. Or even those occasional birds that fly in one spot with their wings open and the breeze holding them up.
Maybe it's because they have indefinite possibilities and their wings can take them there.
Maybe it's because the wind in their face is freeing and they are above everything else.
Maybe it's because there's strength in soaring.
